White Pass & Yukon Railroad is a narrow gauge railroad built in 1898 from Skagway, Alaska to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.

ALASKA RAILROAD - TALKEETNA STATION - After getting off the train at Talkeetna Station and getting on tour bus for rest of trip to Mt. McKinley lodge, photos of passenger train, train engines and "Fire Suppression Water" tankers at station were photographed. Photos taken thru window of tour bus.

Photos taken during ride on Alaska Railroad train ride from Denali National Park to Fairbanks, Alaska. Most photos were taken while standing on rear car observation deck. For about 25 miles coming out of Denali Park, the railroad ran on the edge of a cliff with mountain on one side and several hundred feed drop to the river on the other side.
